The Main Idea Detective song and activity will take your students on an adventure with Detective “Pic” as she uses her main idea and details skills to solve a mystery. This story is told through the song, giving students a read-aloud option with the lyrics on screen.
Your students can use the lyrics to understand the strategies for finding the main idea and will uncover the clues for themselves to find out how Detective Pic solved her case.
But how’s this different from everything else on the educational market?
