Camp Info
- $210 per child per session. *$240 after June 15th
- Covers all fees, snacks, and a camp T-shirt

- Session #1: July 7th – July 11th, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Session #2: July 28th – August 1st, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Campers Will Learn:
the five elements of Hip Hop, collaborate with peers to produce their own performances and art using these elements, and gain skills in:
- 🎧 Music Production
- 🥁 Musical Instruments
- 🎶 Rapping and Singing
- 🕺 Dance and Choreography
- 🎤 Songwriting and Language Arts
- 🗣️ Public Speaking and Stage Performance
- 🎨 Physical Art (logo, art, and streetwear design)

The Five Elements of Hip Hop:
Dance, Rap, DJing, Graffiti Art, and Knowledge (of Self and Community)
Families are invited to a performance at 3 PM on the last day of each session.

Meet the Team!
Our team of licensed teachers have over 50 years of combined experience working with kids in arts and performance.

Kenneth Burrows, Jr.
Ken has over 20 years experience using Hip Hop in language arts and student performances to educate and engage students. He founded Rap Opera for Kids, LLC, an educational company that uses Hip Hop with elements of theater to teach language arts, in 2017 and has done numerous shows and workshops with students over the past 15 years in Lynchburg City.


Darren Wheelock
For over a decade, Darren has used his gifts in art design to help students express their ideas while sharpening their talents. With a wide variety of professional projects under his belt such as art design for boardgames, he has recently used his talents to educate Lynchburg city students on graffiti art.
